Ansaphone to begin working with Discover Quincy and The Quincy Film Office.
The City of Quincy is expecting a significant increase in tourists due in large part to the HBO Mini Series on John Adams. Quincy is excited about this and recognizes the need to put it's best foot forward in responding to people interested in coming to Quincy to experience the history and discover the impact and the role our city played in the birth of America. www.discoverquincy.com
The Quincy Film Office was opened by Mark Carrey to be a centralized location for film companies to procure permits, receive assistance in location recommendations and to make the filming experience as smooth and seamless as possible. A number of movies are being filmed in Massachusetts and The Quincy Film Office will be the ambassador for the city to create greate snergy between film companies, local businesses and the city. 1-866-990-FILM (866-990-3456).

August 20, 2007: Ansaphone extends the Jimmy Fund Tel-a-Thon to 3am Saturday.
Ansaphone service helped extend the hours of the 2007 Jimmy Fund Tel-A-Thon into the early morning hours of Saturday August 19th. At 11:59pm on Friday August 18th, Ansaphone began taking all calls for the Jimmy Fund Tel-A-Thon. The 3 hours friday night/satuday morning and another 2 hours on Thursday were donted by Ansaphone and the results were exceptional. When the Radio-Telethon concluded at midnight, the tally was $3,604,987 but calls continued to be taken at Ansaphone Service until 3 a.m. and, along with online contributions, pushed the total to $3,688,179.
The Tel-A-Thon recorded donations from every state and many countries including, Ireland, Singapore, Japan and Iceland.
Our staff was really excited to be participating in the Tel-A-Thon. "We knew this event was being heard by people all over the country and the world and we wanted to give everyone as much of an opportunity to participate and be involved in this great event." said Wil Porter of Ansaphone, "I think there is a great opportunity for the Tel-A-Thon to go 48 hours straight or more."
